Motorcyclist killed after trying to negotiate curve at high rate of speed, police say

Police say the motorcyclist was speeding on a 2008 Honda CBR 600 on 151 when they tried to take an exit onto the access road.

SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist is dead after police say they tried to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed early Saturday.

It happened around 5:45 a.m. in the 5700 block of State Highway 151 on the west side of town.

Police say the motorcyclist was speeding on a 2008 Honda CBR 600 on 151 when they tried to take an exit onto the access road. They failed to navigate the curve the curve, hit the curb and went off the road into the grass. The motorcyclist was ejected from their bike.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by SAFD. The victim has not yet been identified.
