Mount Pleasant player injured during playoff game against South Oak Cliff

The player went down during the game and an ambulance arrived soon after.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas — A Mount Pleasant football player is receiving treatment after an injury during the team’s second round playoff game against South Oak Cliff Thursday night. 

The player, Jordan Tarrant, went down during the game and an ambulance arrived soon after. Tarrant received treatment from crews on the football field. 

The game ended prematurely with 1:20 left on the clock. Mount Pleasant was ultimately defeated in the game by South Oak Cliff with a score of 46-7.
