SAN ANTONIO — A multi-vehicle crash along I-10 near the University of Texas at San Antonio caused major traffic backups Tuesday afternoon, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
Officials said at least one person was transported to the hospital. Information about the other drivers was not provided. It is also unclear what caused the collision.
Video obtained by a KENS 5 employee showed one vehicle on top of a roadway barrier, while other cars were heavily damaged.
Emergency crews cleared the scene, and traffic was temporarily diverted off the highway.
