SAN ANTONIO — Multiple emergency crews were called to an apartment fire on the northwest side Saturday night, officials say.
The San Antonio Fire Department responded to the Tarry Towne Apartments on Vance Jackson Road around 9 p.m.
Officials say firefighters battled heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof of one of the apartment buildings. Crews will remain on scene until it is fully cleared.
Fire officials did not say how many units were impacted.
