
Firefighters at the scene say that the home already had flames and smoke billowing out of it by the time they got there just before 8 p.m. Sunday.
PINEHURST, Texas — Pinehurst Volunteer Fire Department along with several other departments were dispatched to 3716 Mockingbird Street in Pinehurst to find a home engulfed in flames.

The homeowner he heard a loud pop in the back of the house before looking and seeing heavy flames begin spilling out. He later said he had just had some electrical work done.
The homeowner and another adult were in the home but were able to escape safely, but are now displaced.
While no injuries were reported, the home itself suffered major fire, smoke, and water damage and appears to be a total loss.
While the homeowner suspects an electrical error, the official cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
The City Of Orange, West Orange, Orange County ESD2, and Orange County ESD3 all provided mutual aid along with Acadian Ambulance.
