Multiple police agencies respond to exchange of gunfire between vehicles on North Side

SAN ANTONIO – Multiple police agencies responded following an exchange of gunfire on the city’s North Side early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on the access road of Highway 281, not far from both Hollywood Park and Hill Country Village.

According to Hill Country Village police, officers from four agencies responded to a call for suspects in vehicles shooting at each other.

Hollywood Park police officers were able to pull over one of the vehicles involved in the shooting.

Police said at one point, five suspects in that vehicle were fighting with both each other and with officers.

About 12 police and Bexar County deputy units responded to the scene and were able to get the situation under control.

There were no word on any arrests or injuries.
