SAN ANTONIO — According to San Antonio Police, a fight between a man’s ex and his new girlfriend ends in gunfire on the west-side Thursday night.
The incident occurred inside an apartment complex on West Vista Drive near Highway 151 around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the ex showed up at the apartment to get her things and when she arrived the man’s new girlfriend was inside. She then began fighting with the new girlfriend.
That’s when officers say the man in the apartment shot his ex to stop her from beating up the new girlfriend. The woman in her 20s was hit several times in her hand and chest.
The new girlfriend was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
