Native American worker reported missing in San Antonio while visiting from South Dakota reservation has been found

Friends say this is not like him to lose communication, especially with his pregnant girlfriend.

SAN ANTONIO — The missing worker visiting from out of state to work on a project in Floresville has been found.

26-year-old Toby Hacker, a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, is in town visiting from the reservation in central South Dakota. He’s helping build a fence for the Texas Tribal Buffalo Project’s new 150-acre property in Floresville.

Hacker was last heard from at 7 p.m. Friday, and believed to have gone missing from the downtown San Antonio area around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

Friends say this is not like him to lose communication, especially with his pregnant girlfriend who hears from him multiple times a day.
