WESLEY DOES HIS PART FOR SPURS MATH HOOPS LIVE

The Spurs hosted the “Spurs Math Hoops Live” at the Frost Bank Center, with Spurs guard Blake Wesley doing his part to help promote mathematics to young athletes. He joined the students in math games, learning basketball skills, and more.

In partnership with the non-profit organization Learn Fresh, and the NBA Math Hoops program, Spurs Math Hoops is a comprehensive community program featuring a basketball board game, mobile app, and curriculum that teaches students fundamental math skills through basketball.

Students at schools across San Antonio, Austin, Uvalde, and surrounding areas have been following a curriculum version of Spurs Math Hoops since October. In 2024, the program engaged 40 educators, 35 schools, and 5,807 students.

Joining Wesley was the Coyote, Hype Squad, and Whataburger’s mascot, Whataguy.
