The Spurs’ upcoming game against the Lakers will start later at 8:30 PM CT on January 7, 2026. Meanwhile, there’s a new partnership with Great Clips.
SAN ANTONIO — The NBA announced that the San Antonio Spurs‘ home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, will have a new start time.
The game will now tip off at 9:30 PM ET (8:30 PM local) and will remain televised by ESPN and locally on FanDuel Sports Network.
The Spurs are 1-1 against the Lakers this season.
SPURS PARTNER WITH GREAT CLIPS SALON
The Spurs announced a new partnership with Great Clips, the national salon franchise, which will have a positive impact on the community.
Great Clips will provide a day of free haircuts to student athletes at San Antonio’s IDEA Najim College Preparatory School, making sure the team looks and feels their best on and off the court.
Great Clips will also be handing out discounted haircut coupons at select home games for fans in attendance for the following home games:
- Wednesday, January 7
- Saturday, January 17
- Saturday, February 7
- Sunday, March 8
- Sunday, April 12
Fans attending select games can look for Great Clips representatives outside Section 108 to pick up a coupon for a discounted haircut at participating San Antonio locations, while supplies last.
