SAN MARCOS, Texas — Thousands of customers were without power early Wednesday morning in San Marcos, Texas.
Roughly 4,700 San Marcos Utilities (SMTX) customers did not have power as of 6:20 a.m. after storms impacted the area.
The largest area affected area stretched between Fenway Loop and Dunbar Park, where roughly 1,700 people did not have power.
The southwestern portion of Hays County was also under a flash flood warning Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
As of around 9 a.m. Wednesday, only about 115 customers were without power.
