SAN ANTONIO — Norah O’Donnell anchored her last show as CBS Evening News anchor Thursday evening. She’ll now start her new role as CBS News Senior Correspondent.
Before her journalist career started, O’Donnell called San Antonio her home. She attended NEISD schools Serna Elementary, Garner Middle School and MacArthur High School, where she graduated in 1991.
North East Independent School District took to Facebook to congratulate their former alum on her next chapter.
O’Donnell anchored nearly 1,300 broadcasts over the past five years.
