New animated Adult Swim series ‘Keeping Up With The Joneses’ pokes fun at the Dallas Cowboys owner

The series follows a Dallas family as they attempt to “keep up” with their wealthy next-door neighbors — Jerry Jones and his family.

DALLAS — Adult Swim, the adult-oriented programming block on Cartoon Network, debuted some of its forthcoming projects this year earlier this week — and one of those projects features a very familiar face.

Keeping Up With The Joneses, created by some of the writers behind Robot Chicken and Mike Tyson Mysteries, is a half-hour animated series that follows the Newberry family trying to “keep up” with their extremely Rich Dallas neighbors — Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones and his family.

Between recent legal trouble, one of his many companies going public, and whatever new turmoil the Dallas Cowboys are going through, the show will have plenty of fodder to mine for material.

It’s not known at this point if Jones himself is involved with the show in any way or if he will provide the voice to his animated self. However, Jones is no stranger to the TV screen. Just earlier this year, Jones appeared as himself on the hit Paramount+ Landman, and received quite a bit of praise for his performance.

The show is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and created by Hugh Davidson, Rachel Ramras and Larry Dorf. It’s not known yet what talent will lend their voices to the series.

There is no premiere date for Keeping Up With The Joneses yet. Do you plan on watching?
