SAAM Fest will be held in the old Cavender Cadillac parking lot, located at 827 Broadway, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. According to a press release, the event will feature more than 100 vendors selling original art, two stages hosting performances from local bands, musicians and comedy acts, along with an array of food trucks to pick from.
“We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural San Antonio Art & Music Festival,” said event organizers from Inebriated Shakespeare Productions (IS Productions) in the release. “This festival is a celebration of the rich tapestry of creativity that defines San Antonio. It’s an opportunity for artists, musicians, and the community to come together and revel in the beauty of expression.”
Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the nonprofit organization, IS Productions, whose mission is to “entertain and enrich audiences” with modern takes on William Shakespeare while also helping other nonprofits on their missions.
Tickets are on sale right now for $5 on SAAMFest.com but will cost $10 at the gate.
