Five people heading from Forth Worth to Eagle Pass were killed in the July 17 wreck.
SAN ANTONIO — A new photo of the wrecked Camaro that authorities say caused a deadly crash in southwest San Antonio has been released as the hunt for those who were inside continues.
Four people bailed the car and fled on foot the afternoon of July 17 and haven’t been caught, according to police. Moments earlier, the car was speeding along Interstate 35 near Cassin Road when it crashed into a cargo trailer, causing the bus pulling it to crash into a guard rail and roll.
Five people died as a result of the crash, including the 50-year-old driver. It was heading to Eagle Pass from Fort Worth, according to the transportation company Transportes Guerras.
The new photo of the Camaro – which was stolen on July 14 – provides a closer look at how severe the incident was.

Over a dozen others were hospitalized and eventually released after the crash.
