KERR COUNTY, Texas — New video shows a North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) jet intercepting a civilian aircraft above Kerr County.

The airspace is currently restricted until Saturday. Those that want to fly, an aircraft or a drone must register and get approval, otherwise it could result in a violation or a fine.
The video shows NORAD intercepting with a civilian aircraft Wednesday afternoon just before 4 p.m. This intercept, combined with yet another TFR violation, has resulted in a total of five unauthorized incursions into restricted airspace this weekend. The civilian aircraft was safely escorted out of the area, by the NORAD fighter aircraft.
If you’re trying to fly in the area between Canyon Lake and Hunt, whether it’s a drone or an aircraft, you have to register and coordinate with the joint air to ground communication teams before flying.
