
Newborns at Texas Children’s Hospital sported Houston Texans onesies ahead of the NFL Wild Card game, marking an early start to fandom and H-Town pride.
HOUSTON — Some of the Houston Texans’ newest fans arrived just in time for playoff football.
Ahead of the Texans’ Monday night NFL Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, newborns at Texas Children’s Hospital were dressed in tiny Houston Texans onesies, welcoming them into the fandom during one of the team’s biggest moments of the season.
Among the newest Texans fans born over the weekend are Amirii, weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces; Chloe, at 6 pounds, 8 ounces; Elyanna, weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces; and Leora, who tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
As the Texans prepared to take the field Monday night, these newborns were already game-day ready, showing that in Houston, Texans pride starts early.
The moment is part of an ongoing partnership between Texas Children’s Hospital and the Houston Texans, which creates special experiences for patients, families and staff throughout the football season.
