DALLAS, Texas — Transform and roll coverage!
A new partnership is hitting the shelves and field this spring. Transformers and the NFL have teamed up for a unique collaboration, a “first-of-its-kind” line of NFL-themed Transformers action figures.
Transformers announced the partnership on Facebook, saying the figures will transform from robot figures to football helmets representing different teams in the league, and will feature accessories like mini footballs the robots can hold or team helmets they can wear.
Four teams are represented in the first wave of the line, the company announced, the Dallas Cowboys with “Starblitz”, the Pittsburgh Steelers with “Steelsmash”, the Green Bay Packers with “Tundra Prime” and the Kansas City Chiefs with “KC-59”.
According to the Amazon listing, each figure measures 5.5 inches tall, can transform from robot form to helmet form in 23 steps and is currently on pre-order at $24.99.
Don’t see your favorite team represented? Don’t worry, Transformers says this is only the first wave of the line, with more teams possibly in the works for the future.
