SAN ANTONIO — Out of caution, several school districts will be rescheduling or canceling after-school events Friday, according to several releases.
As of 2 p.m., Northside ISD and North East ISD have announced they are rescheduling or canceling these events.
The districts say coaches and sponsors will notify affected students with more information.
The decision was made after the districts say they consulted with the National Weather Service and the Bexar County Emergency Operations team.
“While we do not anticipate a disruption to events scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22, we will continue to monitor weather and road conditions,” NISD said in their post.
