Deputies say three children were on a school bus involved in a crash on the northeast side of town, but no injuries have been reported.

SAN ANTONIO — No injuries have been reported after a crash involving a school bus and another vehicle on the northeast side of San Antonio, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened near Lakeview Drive and North Foster Road.

Deputies say three children were on board the bus at the time. One child reported minor soreness and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Both the bus and the other vehicle were able to move off the roadway without assistance.

The bus is labeled “First Student,” which is a charter bus company. Officials say it is not affiliated with George Gervin Academy, and it’s still unclear which school the bus was serving or where it was headed. KENS 5 has also reached out to Judson ISD for more information.

BCSO is handling the investigation.

A KENS 5 crew was at the scene as officials worked to gather more details.
