Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire in the restaurant’s kitchen.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio firefighters were called to a northwest-side restaurant early Saturday morning for a fire, according to officials.
At about 1:12 a.m., crews were called to the Willie’s Bar and Grill located at 4051 N Loop 1604 W for a reported fire.
When crews arrived, they found the grill in the kitchen engulfed in flames. They were able to quickly make entry and extinguish the flames, according to officials. No further damage was done to the restaurant.
It is currently unclear what caused the fire, but SAFD is investigating as of Saturday morning.
No injuries have been reported.
