No running water | Town of Hunt issues urgent plea for water, other supplies

There is no running water currently in the town and water is one of the items they need the most.

HUNT, Texas — A call for help is going out in Hunt, one of the hardest hit areas in the Guadalupe River flood on Friday.

Now the fire chief is in desperate need and asking for supplies for his community.

Hunt is where all of the major summer camps are located and where right now there is no running water, or little to no power.

Hunt Fire Chief Tom Pool is asking for donations to the Hunt Fire Department.

There is no running water currently in the town and water is one of the items they need the most.

The fire chief says any kind of supplies or support is greatly appreciated saying that those that evacuated literally only left with the clothes on their back.

“Things that you’d never thought you’d see, in situations you’d never thought you’d see people in is kind of where we’re at right now,” said Hunt Volunteer Fire Department.

For those that live in Hunt, you can visit the fire station off of FM 1340 for critical supplies, cash cards, and emergency assistance.
