None hurt after train crashes into SUV in south San Antonio, officials say

The Tuesday afternoon crash unfolded in the area of Hermitage Circle and South Presa Street.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio authorities say no injuries were reported when a Union Pacific train appeared to hit a white SUV on the south side Tuesday afternoon. 

Officials responded to the area of Hermitage Court and South Presa Street at 4:36 p.m. after the accident. A KENS 5 crew observed law enforcement evaluating the scene and the white car sitting ajar off the tracks. 

It’s unknown how many occupants were in the car when the crash unfolded.
