Fire officials say that four properties and a vehicle had some type of damage due to the fire.
SAN ANTONIO — What started as a “tree on fire” on the north side led to four properties being damaged, SAFD says.
Units were called to the 300 block of East Courtland Place for a possible “tree on fire” around 3:20 p.m. Monday.
When they got there, it was more than just a tree: several sheds, exterior grass and power lines were also on fire.
SAFD says three sheds were affected by the fire which then spread into an alley between Courtland and Ashby due to the wind. They say that one or two sheds might’ve been living quarters while the others were regular sheds. The fire was eventually put out.
Fire officials say that four properties and a vehicle had some type of damage due to the fire.
SAFD said that various objects inside the sheds made it difficult for firefighters to get inside the sheds.
CPS made the location as some homes are without power as some power lines caught on fire during the ordeal.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No injuries have been reported.
