Selena Gomez teams up with Tajín for a limited-edition makeup set inspired by the popular Mexican flavors.
HOUSTON — Grand Prairie native actress and singer Selena Gomez has launched a new makeup collaboration with season brand Tajín.
Gomez’s makeup brand, Rare Beauty, started its Rare Beauty x Tajín Cheek & Lip Set on Aug. 21, which is described as “a limited-edition beauty collection that adds a bold pop of color to your makeup routine with Tajín-inspired hues.”
The set is sold exclusively on Sephora.com and RareBeauty.com, for a limited time only while supplies last, according to a press release.
“This collab is a celebration of what makes us unique—our culture, our energy, and the moments that bring us together,” Gomez said. “Just like Tajín, these shades bring boldness, warmth, and a spark of joy to every occasion.”
Inspired by the iconic colors of Tajín Clásico Seasoning and Tajín Chamoy Sauce, this vibrant set includes two Rare Beauty full-size exclusives:
- Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Chamoy (deep red brown) – Rare Beauty’s bestselling blush now in a shade that delivers a spicy flush of color, blending seamlessly for a radiant finish.
- Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss in Clásico (rich terracotta with copper and gold shimmer) – A brand-new shade that leaves lips drenched in glass-like shine and hydration with a prismatic shimmer.

The North Texas native posted about the announcement on her Instagram, where she boasts 417 million followers, the fourth-most on the entire platform.
“I grew up with @tajinusa because of my family and still use it on everything, so one could say this collab has been years in the making,” Gomez wrote. “Meet the @rarebeauty Tajin Cheek & Lip Set It comes with exclusive shades of some of your faves-our liquid blush in Chamoy and lip gloss in Clasico-to add un poco de color to your routines.”
The Rare Beauty x Tajín Cheek & Lip Set retails for $30 and features:
- Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Chamoy – 0.25 fl. oz. | 7.5 ml
- Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss in Clásico – 0.11 fl. oz. | 3.3 ml
As part of this collaboration, Rare Beauty said it will support Tajín’s meaningful philanthropic efforts with a donation to the Escuela Nacional de Cerámica (National School of Ceramics), an organization dedicated to preserving and elevating Mexican artistry and craftsmanship, as well as The Rare Impact Fund, which supports organizations that expand access to mental health services for young people.
The set is not edible nor has a flavor profile, Rare Beauty said in its press release. The Tajín inspiration comes through in its color cues, the company said.
