Northwest-side church offers festive fun with free pumpkin patch and more

SAN ANTONIO — A free pumpkin patch recently opened up at a northwest-side church and everyone is welcome.

The Oxford United Methodist Church, on 9739 Huebner Road, is providing free seasonal activities for families, including a pumpkin patch, hayrides through the “spooky forest,” a petting zoo and specialty events.

On Oct. 25 there will be a Trunk or Treat event starting at 6 p.m. where decorated cars will line up in the back parking lot near the gymnasium to pass out goodies to trick-or-treaters.

The church will also host movie nights throughout the month. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks to enjoy a movie under the stars.
