
A police pursuit involving a stolen vehicle in Cibolo ended in an arrest after officers used a drone to track down the suspect, authorities say.
CIBOLO, Texas — A stolen vehicle alert triggered a police pursuit in Cibolo that ended with an arrest, according to authorities.
Police said the incident began when a Flock license plate reader camera flagged a stolen vehicle in the area. Officers located the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop.
According to police, the driver refused to pull over, leading to a brief chase. Officers later called off the pursuit.
Minutes afterward, police said the suspect crashed the vehicle and ran from the scene.
Authorities said officers deployed a drone to track the suspect from the air in real time. Using the aerial view, officers were able to locate and apprehend the suspect.
Police identified the suspect as Isaac Davis of Converse.
Officials said the case highlights how technology , including license plate readers and drones, is helping law enforcement respond more quickly and enhance public safety.
