One Buc-ee’s fan will get $1K to taste-test Beaver Nuggets and brisket

This week, the financial news website announced it is hiring one Buc-ee’s Bud-ee to try 25 different snacks from the Texas super gas station chain.

“So what’s bussin’ at Buc-ee’s? What’s worth a pit-stop, and what should our readers turn down? We need your help to find out,” the company wrote, processed through a Gen Z filter, and published in a release.

The one lucky winner will receive $1,000 for their efforts, plus $250 for gas, snacks, and Buc-ee’s branded merchandise.

Some of the items the winner will be asked to try are kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, barbecue sandwiches, lemon crisps, fudge, banana pudding, and biscuits and gravy. The winner is expected to document their journey with written reviews and photographs of the items. 

To qualify, winners must be located in the U.S., be 18 years of age, and be within driving distance of a Buc-ee’s. Applications are due September 11, after which the winner will be chosen by September 18. The winner will then have two weeks to complete the gastronomical mission.
