SAN ANTONIO — One person was hurt after a fire and possible explosion at a home on the northwest side Tuesday evening, fire officials said.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, a blaze at a home on Ferris Creek may have caused an explosion in the garage. They said a person who may have been in the garage at the time was injured and taken to the hospital with burns, but they were expected to survive.
Officials said the fire caused a wall collapse, and crews had to work to stop the flames from spreading to other homes nearby. The cause is under investigation.
