SAN ANTONIO — One man is shot and sent to the hospital after a shooting took place on the west side, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident took place near Sugarloaf Drive and Hunt Lane before 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say the victim told officials the shooting occurred at a different location before he drove to a home and called for help.
Officials say the man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip but is expected to be okay.
The investigation is ongoing.
