SAN ANTONIO — One parent is shot after trying to protect his child from a group of teens who showed up at his front door Thursday night on the east side, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. Thursday on the 300 block of St. James Street.
Police say the man confronted the teens who wanted to fight his son and that’s when one if them shot him. The group later drove off in a silver or grey vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
