SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are responding to a shooting involving an officer Wednesday afternoon on the south side.
Law enforcement responded to the 1000 block of Gillette near Zarzamora around 12:50 p.m.
Officials with the fire department confirmed one patient was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police did not give any information on what led up to the shooting or the extent of the person’s injuries.
This is the fourth shooting involving an SAPD officer in the month of March and the sixth one so far in 2023.
