SAN ANTONIO — Our Lady of the Lake University is making a major change aimed at expanding Mexican American studies on campus.
University officials said the Center for Mexican American Studies and Research will be integrated into broader academic and student programs.
As part of the change, archives will be moved into the university library.
Leaders said the move will make the materials more accessible to students, faculty and the public for research and learning, while strengthening long-term preservation of the university’s cultural resources.
