The recall by Simmons Prepared Foods Inc. was announced on Friday, December 15, and affects consumers nationwide.
FSIS reports the agency has received an unspecified number of consumer complaints regarding the contamination, but noted that there have been no confirmed reports of injury or illness. The recall does not specify what retailers the TGI Fridays boneless chicken bites products are sold at, but they product is on shelves nationwide. Other TGI Fridays products are sold at retailers that include HEB, Walmart, Target, Kroger, and many other national retailers.
