SAN ANTONIO — A tractor-trailer overturned on a busy northwest-side highway about 8 p.m. Sunday, leading to major traffic delays on an otherwise calm evening in the Alamo City.
The big rig was seen resting on its side and blocking most of the eastbound lanes on Loop 410 near the I-10 interchange in northwest San Antonio.
Police were redirecting traffic off the highway and onto the access roads, but the volume of cars already was backing up Loop 410.
There was no word yet on what caused the tractor-trailer to overturn or whether there were any injuries associated with the crash.
