TEXARKANA, Texas — Two people have been arrested following the death of a 5-year-old East Texas boy.
According to the Texarkana Texas Police Department, Terry Robinson, 35, and Destiny Culvahouse, 24, are now in custody after their child died Friday night.
Robinson is charged with capital murder of a person under 10-years-old. He was booked into the Bi-State Jail on $5 million bond. Culvahouse is charged with child with serious bodily injury or death. She is also being held in the Bi-State Jail on $1 million bond.
Around 2 p.m. Friday, officers were called to an apartment in the 3300 block of Nichols Dr. on reports of a child not breathing. When police arrived on scene, they began CPR and the boy was taken to a local hospital where he died a short time later.
