SAN ANTONIO — Happening Wednesday, two parents are speaking up as part of Anti-Bullying Month amid their lawsuit alleging their son was hazed and sexually harassed at Central Catholic High School.
The parents say their 15-year-old told them he was bullied, hazed and sexually assaulted by his soccer team between January and April.
Carlos and Christina Garcia say their noon press conference on Wednesday is aimed at helping to prevent hazing and bullying in San Antonio.
Earlier this year, we reported the Garcias’ claimed their son was locked inside a cage and sexually assaulted by a senior at Central Catholic High School.
Another investigation is happening in Round Rock, where the Garcia’s say their son was touched and sexually harassed at a soccer tournament.
In one of the police reports, the principal’s son was listed as one of the players. The principal’s wife told CBS news the allegations against her son are not true.
“He immediately said, ‘If you make me go to school here three more years, I will kill myself,’” Christina said.
“The principal’s son told him, ‘If you snitch, we will make this worse,'” said Carlos.
Since the lawsuit was filed, five students were disciplined including one senior who was not allowed to walk across the stage at graduation and another student who was expelled.
Christina Garcia says she wants to see the soccer team suspended and administrators and students held responsible.
The couple will hold a press conference at noon on Wednesday at the El Chaparral Mexican Restaurant on N Loop 1604.
