
Police say a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on the Loop 1604 access road late Saturday night.
SAN ANTONIO — A pedestrian was killed late Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on the city’s far northeast side, according to San Antonio police.
Officers were called around 10:53 p.m. to the 3800 block of North Loop 1604 East near Bulverde Road for a major accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Police said a vehicle was traveling eastbound on the access road and attempting to enter Loop 1604 when it struck a pedestrian who was walking along the access road.
The driver remained at the scene, contacted emergency services immediately and cooperated with investigators, according to police.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not been positively identified.
The investigation remains ongoing.
