Two men were injured in what police say was the second shooting at an east-side sports bar in the last three months.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a double-shooting that happened outside of a sports bar on the east side of town early Friday morning.
Two officers were parked nearby the Vibe Sports Bar and Grill on Rigsby around 1:30 a.m. when they heard gunshots. The officers said they drove around looking for the disturbance and found two men in their 20s on the ground outside of the sports bar with gunshot wounds.
One of the victims was shot in the leg and the other was shot in his torso, police say. They were taken to BAMC for their injuries. The man who was shot in the abdomen was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police don’t have any information on the suspect at this time. The two victims are brothers, according to the security guard at the bar.
This is the second shooting at that sports bar in the last three months.
