Authorities say two people found dead inside a vehicle had apparent gunshot wounds.
SAN ANTONIO — New details are emerging after a deadly crash on San Antonio’s west side Wednesday afternoon
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the incident is now being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide.
Officers were called just before 3 p.m. to the northbound lanes of Southwest Loop 410 near Valley Hi Drive for what was initially reported as a major accident.
When officers arrived, EMS was already on scene and found two people inside a vehicle.
Police say both individuals appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
Earlier, the San Antonio Fire Department confirmed the crash involved a single vehicle and that two people were found dead.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
