Police investigate bomb threat at Castle Hill private school; nothing suspicious found

Castle Hill police responded to a bomb threat at a local private school; no threat found.

SAN ANTONIO — Castle Hill Police Department investigated a bomb threat at a private school Thursday, the department said.

According to the agency’s Facebook page,  police were notified Wednesday about the threat at Christian School at Castle Hill at 2216 Northwest Military Highway. The threat was in the form of a message written inside a bathroom stall indicating there will be a “bomb on Thursday at 2:15 p.m., the department said.

Police say there was no futher information about the message or who wrote it.

In response to the report, officers with Castle Hill, along with SAPD’s Bomb Squad, walked through the school and did not locate anything suspicious. They later walked through with the SAPD bomb dog and again, nothing was located.

The school notified parents about the message and the investigation. No classes were cancelled and school resumed as normal Thursday.
