SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police said an argument at a west-side apartment complex ended in one man being shot early Saturday morning.
According to SAPD, officers were called around 2:36 a.m. to the 500 block of South Acme Road for reports of a shooting-in-progress.
When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old man who had been shot in the lower body. EMS transported him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
According to investigators, the victim had been in the courtyard area of the apartment complex when another group of individuals arrived and an argument broke out. During the confrontation, police said an unidentified suspect began shooting, striking the man.
Police said the shooter and several others fled the scene and have not been located at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
