Witnesses say they heard a fight followed by the sound of a gunshot.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot outside of an apartment on the west side of town late Wednesday night.
It happened around 11 p.m. in the 1900 block of Potosi Street near South Zarzamora Street.
Officers say the victim, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to witnesses, a fight began inside an apartment and ended up outside. During that fight, a gunshot was heard and then a man was seen on the ground bleeding.
Three suspects fled from the scene on foot, police say.
No description was provided of the suspects.
