Police are working to get more information on the vehicle involved, as well as the suspect.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating after a woman was found shot in the stomach in a drive-by shooting on the southwest side of town early this morning.
It happened just before 1a.m. off Pine Valley Drive.
The sergeant at the scene said that a family was hanging out in their back yard when someone inside a vehicle drove up and started shooting towards the home.
Officers say that a woman in her 50s was hit in the stomach and taken to University Hospital for her injuries.
She is expected to be okay.

No other injuries were reported.
