Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies had been in pursuit but called it off due to wet roads and high rates of speed.
VON ORMY, Texas — Officials in Bexar County have recovered a stolen vehicle on the south side of the city Thursday.
BCSO deputies recovered a stolen Ford F350 that was abandoned by the suspect on some railroad tracks in Von Ormy.
Witnesses say they saw a young man between 20 and 30 years of age fleeing from the area.
Officials with Bexar County say they were in pursuit of the stolen vehicle earlier but called it off due to dangerous conditions caused by the wet roads and high rates of speed.
Officials searched the area but did not locate the suspect.
