Police investigating stabbing on far west side of San Antonio

Officers say a man came out of his home and demanded the keys to his neighbor’s vehicle, and when the man refused, he stabbed him.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a stabbing that happened on the far west side of town.

Officers responded to the 4400 block of Baffin Peak near Highway 90 around 6 p.m. on Monday for reports of a cutting in progress.

The incident began when investigators say a man came out of a nearby home and demanded the keys to a neighbor’s vehicle.

When the 60-year-old owner refused, police say he was stabbed with a knife. His injuries were not life-threatening, according to first responders. The victim is expected to recover.

No word on any arrests or charges.
