Police make arrest in deadly convenience store shooting

Police say that 34-year-old Nathan Knowles has been charged with murder in a deadly convenience store shooting.

An arrest has been made in the case of a deadly shooting that happened outside of a west-side gas station in early October.

The San Antonio Police Departments says that 34-year-old Nathan Knowles has been charged with murder.

On October 7, Michael Berlanga was shot in the head in front of a corner store on the 1600 block of North Zarzamora.

Police say that Knowles and Berlanga did not know each other.

On May 9, Knowles pled guilty for a lesser charge to serve a sentence of 10 years for manslaughter, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
