Police need your help identifying suspect involved in aggravated robbery at Dairy Queen

The suspect, who was carrying a metal pipe, demanded that the employee open the cash register.

SAN ANTONIO — Police and Crime Stoppers need your help identifying a suspect who tried to rob a Dairy Queen on the west side of town.

It happened in the 1200 block of  S General McMullen Drive on Monday, October 13 around 9:15 p.m.

The suspect entered the restaurant carrying a metal pipe and demanded the store employee open the cash register. The employee refused to open it for him but gave him permission to open it himself. 

Police say a customer confronted the suspect, hit him with a chair, and demanded that he leave the business. 

The suspect then ran away in an unknown direction.
