Police say a passenger grabbing steering wheel caused a driver to crash into a fence and wall

It happened at an apartment complex north of downtown.

SAN ANTONIO — Police say a passenger in the front seat of a pickup truck grabbed the steering wheel and caused the driver to crash into a wall and fence at an apartment complex.

It happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 11800 block of Parliament Drive near Blanco Road.

Officers say the man was “horsing around” in the front passenger seat while two young girls in the backseat of the pickup were filming a Snapchat video. The man lost his balance and fell forward, grabbing the steering wheel and sending them into a wall and fence at an apartment complex.

The young girl driving and the passengers were all checked out on the scene by EMS. Nobody was injured in the crash.

No word on whether anyone will be facing charges.
