
Officers say when his brother refused to give him a ride he struck him on his head, causing swelling.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was struck on his head with a gun by his brother after police say he refused to give him a ride somewhere late Saturday night.
It happened around midnight in the 500 block of East Congress Avenue on the south side of town.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the 31-year-old victim with swelling on his head from being struck with a handgun. The victim told police his 26-year-old brother had hit him on his head when he refused to give him a ride somewhere. The suspect got rid of the weapon before police arrived at the scene, and refused to tell them where he disposed of it.
Officers searched the property but couldn’t find it.
The Victim refused medical treatment, police say.
The suspect was booked for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
